It's a whole new year...

We got home yesterday from our New Year's Trip. On Tuesday we drove to St. George to see my grandparents new home. We had a wonderful time eating, playing games and enjoying the rain. Your new home is beautiful Grandma and Grandpa! Thanks for having us. On Thursday morning, we drove to Vegas for our annual New Year's Eve visit. It was wonderful as usual! There was lots of game playing (card games and even a Nerf Battle between Josh and the kids), eating and moving watching (Despicable Me-our new favorite & Shrek 4). We enjoy going to see the Giles every year,  making the drive to the house in their neighborhood with the music and lights show and having the ever fabulous VIP punch (a yummy pineapple slushy drink with Sprite poured over it) on New Year's Eve.  It was a very laid back trip and I got some more delicious recipes to try out. I already made the chicken and rice, Aimee, and it was so good! Can't wait to try the potato soup out! Thanks so much for having us. We look forward to next year! We made our way home on Saturday. When we got home, our house was 55 degrees! Brrrr....Also, a big shout out to my parents for watching Farley for us while we were gone. I guess it's back to reality tomorrow. Boo!!! I think I will leave my Christmas decorations up a few more days to soak up a few more holiday moments. Happy New Year everyone! I think 2011 is going to be the best year yet. :)
