Emma

Today I was reading this blog that I sometimes follow and there was a link to an up and coming artist named Mindy Gledhill. So I looked up some of her music and found the song Emma that is playing on here. It reminded me of how much Emma Smith went through in her life. Sometimes I feel so bogged down by all the trials in life, but when I think of all she went through I realize how amazing of a woman she truely was. Dealing with infertility has been so hard at times and often I think that there could be no other trial that could possible be harder. But dealing with infertility, then having children die at birth or shortly after and then supporting your husband and seeing him persecuted and later murdered for the gospel would definitely be more than I could bear. She truely was a remarkable woman and I am so grateful for her example. I hope that I can be as faithful as she was during hard times and remember to endure to the end.
