So he is one now...

Our little guy turned one in September and then...it was like never ending busy-ness. We had his party and in the following weeks my niece was born and I was in Idaho helping out, my brother Colton came home from his mission to Tonga and what else? Hm..can't remember. Well anyway, Bennett is growing fast.

At his one year appt:
Height 28 inches
Weight 18 lbs.

Other fun facts:
Shoe size: 3-4
Clothing size: 12 months (he is long and skinny so clothes need to be long enough but are baggy)
Diaper size: 4

Eating: everything (prefers cottage cheese with fruit in it, fruit snacks, bananas, spaghettios)

Personality: Shakes his head yes and no when he wants something, can sign his own version of more, waves hi and bye to people, says Mama, Mom, Dada, Dad, claps his hands when we say Yay!

Walking: has taken about 4 steps, not continuous, not really interested in walking and will flop down if mom or dad try to help him walk

Likes: watching videos of himself on our phones, his binky, his monkey and doggy blankets, eating, crawling, throwing things, playing with our water dispenser (naughtypants), pulling things out of cupboards, pulling things out of electrical sockets (naughtypants), going for walks, swinging at the park, bathtime, listening to first couple of pages of a book (short attention span), playing in the toilet (naughtypants), pounding on the piano keys with Dad, pounding on the computer keys (naughtypants), keeping Mom busy busy busy!

Dislikes: us trying to get him to walk, us eating our food without him having some too, timeouts, being put in his car seat (he arches his back to keep us from buckling it), riding in the car (he gags himself by sticking his finger down his throat, it freaks Mom out), taking naps at church, not getting all of our attention :)

 Oh sad little man! He fell down during the shoot and hit his head on the sidewalk. We were all sad :(
