I seriously wish I had six arms right now! We are on the board/moving countdown. Josh takes his first board exam in 7 days and we move in 14 days!!!! I leave next Tuesday for a week long trip to CO. I am excited to see family but I am kind of nervous about flying with Bennett by myself and being away from Josh for a week, not to mention I am missing his first Father's Day and we move two days after I get back. The last week has been full of selling, giving away and donating alot of junk and trying to pack up things while Bennett takes them right back out of the box. He is crawling now and bonks his face/head at least once every five minutes. It's a tough, stressful, emotional, exhausting time. I am so nervous for Josh taking his boards and there is nothing I can do to help him prepare other than taking care of the packing and trying to keep out of his hair. Not talking to him during the day is more difficult than usual because I am trying to sort out what to keep and get rid of and making lots of decisions with the move on my own. It's scary to me to be moving somewhere new and starting over, but I'm sure it will be good, right?!!! I can't wait for June 19th, when I get back from CO and Josh will be done with Step 1. We are going to try to escape to California for the week of July 4th to get some much needed R & R. On a side note, there is alot more going on in my family besides us moving. My sister Sarah just left for Italy last week to nanny for 3 months, my brother Louis and his wife Jodi just moved to Idaho for school and my parents are selling the house I grew up in. Life is crazy right now and it is making me way more grateful for the times when life is calm and monotonous. I can't wait for monotony again...
Here are some pics of my little man for your entertainment. He keeps me smiling despite all of the insanity!

Whenever I comb his hair down, it fluffs back up as soon as it is dry. He looks so different without his fluff...

Oh man, hang in there friend! I wish I was there to help you pack or at least take Bennett for a bit so you could get more done. I can't wait until this boards phase is over and we can have our husbands back. Have fun visiting with family, you will do great on the flight. Miss you!
As a survivor of the craziness I can tell you to just hang in there! Its almost over! This is the first summer we're not moving (and moving during med school means that I have to do it because Cody is way too busy to help) Its crazy stressful! I know! Once boards are over everything gets better! (I have to tell myself that right now too because we're in crazy board mode over here for step 2 and its getting intense so I'm really looking forward to July 9th!) Have so much fun in Colorado! Don't worry, I know moving and boards and just being married to a med student in general can be stressful but you're halfway done! Tell Josh good luck on Step 1!
we're on the same schedule! Moving out the 22nd! woot woot! Can't wait to get to the caribbean!
