Another Adoption Spotlight

Last year, in the months following our failed placement, I met a wonderful gal named Sally. She came to my adoptive mom group and I immediately was impressed by her calm presence and the quiet but sincere way she expressed her love for her daughter, her husband and the birthmom who made them a family. Since then I have come to know her even better and have been even more impressed by how she cares for her family, including her hubby who is equally amazing and just happens to have a disability. In getting to know them I have learned that Brigham's disability has not defined who he is or what he has been capable of throughout their marriage or his life. They both take it in stride and it never seems to hold them back, especially in their search to find the baby meant to join their family. They are wonderful parents to their adorable daughter Olivia and will be equally amazing parents to their next little one!
