Jackson Hole

After leaving Jeremy's house, we continued our journey by driving to Jackson Hole, WY. We met up with my parents and Sarah at a condo that our family friends, the Skousens, own. It was wonderful! It had three bedrooms and three bathrooms and was perfect for our family. Thank you so much Skousens for letting us stay and Mom and Dad for arranging it! When we got there on Friday evening and we had dinner and watched tv with my parents and Sarah. Louis and Jodi drove up the next morning. The trip was so fun, so many highlights! We played games, ate lots and really enjoyed spending time together. Here are lots of pictures of our time there. Enjoy :)

Sarah and I with the Teton Mountains behind us. This was taken on the road by the condo.

Rock Band! They played this alot, earned lots of "money" on the game and unlocked some new songs. They also played Mario Kart like crazy. We apparently have new levels now that I need to try out.
Josh, Dad and Sarah even set up a tv outside so they could do Insanity, a workout dvd. They were dying. Josh said he almost threw up!
It was so nice to see Mom and Dad relaxing and enjoying their vacation.
The newlyweds with the Teton Mountains in the background. Don't they look great for having driven all night!
Dad had to jump the creek. He made it!

Karaoke! We all look pretty ridiculous, but it was really fun!
We had quite an adventure making tiedyed shirts, ran out of dye halfway through so then we were squeezing and rubbing together our shirts to try to dye them all. Sarah gave up on having a red, white and blue shirt and broke out the yellow dye.
We spread out aluminum foil on the ground and put our shirts on them so we could mop up the dye.
The girls had fun putting on some Sally Hansen nail shields. Pampering!
They turned out very cute! Jodi is the zebra print on the top right, Sarah is the lace print on the top left and I am the red and checkered.
Watching the 4th of July parade on top of a parking structure in town.
Jodi and Louis with one of the antler arches
Josh and I...a float in the parade was throwing out corn instead of candy, in case you were wondering where the corn came from
Josh's New Friend
Pizza Picnic at the Music in the Hole concert (yes, they really call it that there)
Sisters do as sister do...
Hilarious use of carrots!
Twizzler Fight!!
Josh and I bought a big box of fireworks before we drove up so we lit them off after we watched fireworks at the ski lodge. It was so awesome watching fireworks there, we were right by the hill they were set off on, so they were right above us and so loud! I didn't take any pictures of that firework show, just took time to relax and enjoy it. We got to the ski lodge really early and had to wait two hours while this horrible off key band played. I wanted to go unplug them, seriously! We found some horseshoes so we played that for awhile. My Dad loves to play so it was fun to get to play with him. On our way back to our condo, we were throwing poppers out the car windows on the ground by people walking down the road. Hilarious and naughty... :)
We lit off our own fireworks on a small side road by the condo where it was completely dark. We could see the stars so well and really enjoy the light of the fireworks.
Louis lighting some of the fireworks.

After the fireworks, we went home, made icecream and a flag cake. Yum!
Next post, Yellowstone & Old Faithful including pictures of our finished tiedyed shirts!

Just linked over from Delia Creates and saw that you are adopting. Judging by all the love that comes across on your blog, you will make wonderful parents.

My hubby and I traveled to China just over two years ago to bring our daughter home and we have close friends who have adopted here in the states. Adoption is such a wonderful gift. Best of luck in your journey!
