So yesterday, as a part of procrastinating grading (which I am obviously still doing), I decided to go to Ulta and treat myself to some fabulous new makeup. I am in love! I was talking to my friend Melissa at work about eyeshadow primer and she suggested I check out Urban Decays Eyeshadow Primer. It's AWESOME! It is a cream color with a little sparkle and definitely helps my eyeshadow stay on longer. The primer is the gold genie bottle looking thing in the picture below. While I was looking at the primer, I saw an eyeshadow called Stardust and so I tried on a little bit of the Space Cowboy which is the tan one below. It was so pretty and had just the right amount of sparkle. YAY! Although a little pricey (about $20 each) I decided to splurge and try them out.
That left me wanting a new mascara. The brand I had been using always seems to flake off and get clumpy. So I asked one of the Ulta girls for a suggestion on a good mascara and they suggested the one seen below. It's amazing. It doesn't clump or flake and it seriously makes my eyelashes twice as long. Anyway, I don't usually write about such girly things but I wanted to share my happy makeup find with the world. Funny how little things like new makeup can make you feel so good.
