My husband is a little child in a big persons handsome body. And when I say this, I do not mean it in a bad way. I love him because he loves children and he is easily pleased. Also, he shows kindness to every person he meets regardless of who they are and looks at the world with optimism and hope. He could play for an hour with a bottle of bubbles which also means that he is happy just sitting home and watching a Disney movie with me and eating ice cream cones.
Another thing: Family is everything to me. NO matter what, they love me, support me, encourage me, laugh with me, cry with me and at the end of the day, they are all I care about. I am so blessed to have such an amazing faithful and talented family. I especially love my siblings. I am so proud of them and wish I could be there to see there every achievment.
Here I am with my sister Sarah making our annual sugar cookies. They were so delicious.
Last of all, I have been hesitant to post pictures of myself because due to many circumstances with health and changes in lifestyle, I am not the tiny little person that I was the day that I graduated from high school. And my reality is.....this is who I am right this moment which doesn't mean I will be this way for the rest of my life and I can't hide my life away and pretend that it isn't who I am. I know that my friends and family love me for how I treat others. I am happy, enjoying student teaching and loving my husband. That's what counts! Hope you survived through this journey of a post. I love my life as simple and unglamorous as it may be!

I love this blog Elise. I love you too...think you are awesome!
Elise I think you are a beautiful, wonderful person inside and out. You're very talented and a great friend and you're going to be a great teacher. I'm very glad that you're my friend and that we've gotten closer since high school ended. I love you!!
the part of this blog that stands out the most is, "I am happy." Rememebr that as long as you are happy, the people around you are happy.

I am really happy that you posted this! You just made me sit back and really evaluate what is truly important, and how family is really what it all boils down to.
Elise you are a beautiful girl inside and out (even if Ashley already said it- I am saying it too)! Even when I knew you in high school, you were always nice and friendly to everyone- and I am so happy to see that that has not changed one bit! I hope you know- even though I havn't seen you in eons- I still consider you a friend, and I hope you continue the posting!!! I love seeing what you are up to! XOXO
