Reporting in...

Hello all! Lots has happened since my last post so I best get started. First came my birthday. On the Thursday night before my birthday, Josh and I went to Melting Pot for dinner. It was so fun! Neither of us had ever been there before and it was definitely an unforgettable experience. After dinner we came home and he gave me my first present....Emperor's New Groove, which is pretty much my favorite movie of all time. I could watch it a million times and never stop laughing. Then, he took me into our backyard and he had dug up all the weeds and planted me a cute little flower garden. YAY!!!! I was excited when I just thought he had dug up the weeds but then to see the flowers he had planted, just made my day. The next morning, on my actual birthday, we woke up and he gave me three ASU shirts and a LAPTOP! I know I couldn't believe it either.....I had to open the box to believe that was what was really in there. We needed one really bad so I was and still am super excited about it. It makes life so much easier around here to have two computers. After opening my presents, we went to Denny's for breakfast and then we walked around the new San Tan mall. Very interesting set up over there. Then, Josh went to work and I went to my cousins wedding luncheon (Congrats again Emily!) and then my mom, my sister and I all went and got Halloween design pedicures at this place in Tempe called Quality Nails. It was great fun! That night, I went to a Twilight inspired Halloween party which was really cool and creative. The next day, our friends all met up at Chili's for a birthday dinner. It was a great 23rd and again thanks to all who sent cards or texts and those who came to dinner! This last week has been very busy and I haven't been able to get to bed very early but I survived it and am on the downhill countdown to the end of the semester. One highlight was the Halloween festivities at my interning class. The kids were so cute and didn't get too crazy during the party. I love all of them and am really getting comfortable being in their class. Last saturday I also took the AEPA which for those of you who don't know what that is, it's like the LSAT or MCAT for teachers. Its an eight hour test that leaves you barely able to form an intelligible sentence by the time your done but I survived so now I just have to wait.......a month......to see if I passed or failed . It was tough so I won't be too hard on myself if I have to take it again but I have fasted and prayed that I won't because it wasn't fun at all. So, off to another week...I can't believe my brother Louis leaves on his mission to Bolivia in 23 days! So exciting!

Elise,
I don't know what I did to delete the last comment. Maybe I'm a little slow I don't know. Anyway, what I said was congrats on the new laptop and yea for your brother. That's very exciting. Are you going to visit him?
